Welcome to Gadgets Ug, your reliable source for gadgets and electronics across Uganda. This Shipping & Delivery Policy outlines how we handle the dispatch and delivery of products purchased from our platform.


1. Delivery Coverage

We deliver across all regions in Uganda, including:

  • Central Region 

  • Western Uganda

  • Eastern Uganda

  • Northern Uganda

For certain hard-to-reach locations, delivery timelines may vary. If unsure, please contact our support before placing your order.


2. Delivery Timeframes

We strive to process and deliver your order quickly and efficiently.

Delivery times exclude Sundays and public holidays.


3. Order Processing

  • Orders placed before 4:00 PM are processed the same day.

  • Orders placed after 4:00 PM are processed the next business day.

  • You will receive a confirmation email or SMS with tracking details (if applicable) once your order is dispatched.


4. Shipping Methods

We use a combination of:

  • In-house delivery fleet (within Kampala)

  • Trusted courier partners for upcountry deliveries ( Own Boda Boda Fleet or Safeboda for same-day in city limits)


5. Shipping Fees

Shipping fees are automatically calculated during checkout.


6. Cash on Delivery

Cash on Delivery (COD) is available:

  • In Kampala, Entebbe, and select urban areas

  • On orders below UGX 500,000

If your order is above this threshold, you will be required to make full or partial payment before dispatch.


7. Tracking Your Order

Once your order is shipped:

  • You will receive a tracking code (if available)

  • You can reach our customer care team via WhatsApp or call to check delivery status


8. Delivery Attempts

  • We make 2 delivery attempts.

  • If delivery fails due to unavailability, we will reschedule.

  • After 2 failed attempts, the order will be canceled or subject to return fees.


9. Pickup Option  

At the moment, we have two pick up locations; Kampala Plaza Basement Room B03 and Freedom House Room L654

We are working to introduce other Pickup Points across Uganda. This will allow customers to collect orders from a convenient location.


10. Delays or Exceptions

While we do our best to meet timelines, unforeseen delays may occur due to:

  • Extreme weather

  • Political unrest

  • Courier disruptions

In such cases, we will communicate proactively and offer alternatives where possible.
